The University Printing House was established in 1948, and since 1963 it has been operating as a Publishing House. Previously, it combined two institutions: the Publishing Department and the Printing House, but since 1991 it has been operating together after adopting Latin script. The publishing department (head of the department Huseyn Hajiyev) conducts its activities with reference to the "Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Publishing" approved by our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on May 30, 2000, and takes the requirements of this law as a basis for its daily activities.
